Trusts (On & Offshore)
Our private client team is well regarded in the London market for the provision of trust advice. The team advises on all aspects of trust law including the creation, use and variation of both onshore and offshore trusts.
Our significant experience and expertise in advising a broad range of settlors, trustees and beneficiaries enables us to recommend and create suitable trust structures which take account of the overall tax and estate planning objectives of our clients.
Whilst the tax treatment of trusts has changed a great deal in recent years, trusts can still be an effective tax planning tool and are also useful in protecting assets for minor, or vulnerable, beneficiaries. Whether you are UK or non UK domiciled, trusts can therefore play an important part in the management and protection of your assets and provide flexible wealth planning, family or business solutions.
Our Private Client team offers advice and assistance in establishing trust structures and their ongoing management. This includes both on and offshore lifetime trusts and including testamentary trusts as part of your Will. As well as advising on their structure, we can assist by acting as trustees, or advise trustees and beneficiaries on their duties, obligations and rights. We can also assist and advise on the administration of the trust itself and deal with contentious issues if required.
Representative Trusts (On & Offshore) Work
