His wealth of experience includes advising on individual disputes, especially discrimination and handling dismissals. His well-honed skills at avoiding costly claims - especially during periods of change in a business - make him an invaluable guide through the relevant pitfalls and procedures. He has successfully brought and defended Employment Tribunal and High Court claims over dismissals and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
• Conducted redundancy consultation processes on closure of chemical and textile factories and offices
• Represented successful claimant on £1 million sex discrimination claim against leading Merchant Bank
• TUPE transfer on purchase of nationwide pub chain, followed by managed restructuring and redundancy process involving several hundred employees
