He has an extremely successful track record in complex asset management projects on behalf of investors.
Colin also has extensive experience in handling construction claims, contentious insolvency issues, commercial arbitration work, intellectual property litigation, and computer hardware and software disputes.
• Advising and acting for Mortgagees and Fixed Charge Receivers in connection with commercial and residential investment portfolios and loan books
• Establishing entitlement of lenders in contested proceedings (settled at trial) to enforce their remedies in relation to a substantial loan involving a large residential investment portfolio
• Implementing strategies enabling shopping centre landlords to achieve successful outcomes to lease renewal programmes at major schemes
• Advising and acting on complex rent reviews
• Obtaining substantial settlement in Technology and Construction Court action against contractors for defective development works
