Raj qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and joined the firm in December 2008. His practice focuses on commercial disputes including breach of contract claims, fraud, director and shareholder disputes and debt recovery. He also practices in several fields of professional liability with particular emphasis on claims against lawyers, financial institutions, surveyors and architects.

• Obtained judgment for a claimant in proceedings worth £2 million brought against a bank in relation to a sale of a commercial property sold at an undervalue
• Acted for a director of a company in proceedings worth £2 million brought against a fellow director concerning misappropriation of company funds and setting up of a competing business
• Successfully defended clients accused of setting up a competing business and arranging the fraudulent liquidation of a company
• Acted for claimants in a property fraud matter which involved securing of a worldwide freezing order over assets valued at £10 million
