Biography
Sarah is a specialist in commercial dispute resolution and crisis management.
She has a wide range of experience in litigation, arbitration and adjudication as well as having handled investigations and associated claims arising out of regulatory breaches and connected issues including the interplay with the relevant regulator(s), insurers and other third parties.
Sarah is a strategist when handling disputes. She is legal adviser to a range of clients having recently represented a group of 100 claimants in litigation against Bank of Scotland, acted on a series of Bermuda Form arbitrations for an international energy company, and as advisor to UK businesses in relation to cyber incidents, construction disasters and shareholder disputes.
Before joining Teacher Stern in 2019, Sarah worked at international firm DAC Beachcroft LLP for 6.5 years and was then a Senior Associate at a US law firm for a further 6 years.
Sarah is listed as a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 2024 rankings, and earlier in her career was named a top “Next Generation” Lawyer, also by Legal 500.

199 Knightsbridge v WSP – acting for the developer of a prestigious residential development in Knightsbridge in a professional negligence claim
Confidential Bermuda Form and LCIA arbitrations – acting for various global PLCs
Cornwall Council and the Fire and Rescue Service v O&C Holdsworth Plc prosecution brought against client for breaches of the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005 and related matters.
Acting for a successful defendant in the case of Hiscox Insurance Co. Ltd v Quendon Interiors Ltd (1) Mr Ismail Oral (t/a Precious Marble)(2) TP&N Electrical Contractors Ltd (3) (2018) which considered the test for claims in negligence.
Advising a number of food manufacturing clients in respect of coverage and liability on significant product liability claims, and in relation to product recalls involving damage to goods as a result of faulty ingredients or packaging.
