Trainees

Wing Ming Choi joined Teacher Stern in June 2018 as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation department. He assisted the partners and associates with high value claims and other commercial matters before moving to the Property department in September 2019, whereby he assisted in both residential and commercial property transactions (residential in particular). In October 2020 he became a trainee solicitor, with his first seat being in the Commercial Litigation team before re-joining the Property team as his second seat in mid-2021. He has recently commenced his third seat with the Corporate and Commercial team.

Prior to joining us in 2018, Wing was a paralegal at MTA Solicitors LLP, wherein he ran his own caseload of Credit Hire claims, gaining experience in issuing claims and the general legal process. During his time at Fulcrum LLP, he assisted the partners (previously directors prior to their change from a Limited company to an LLP) and counsel on a major (and nationally reported) bribery and corruption trial (acting for the defendant), with tasks including creating bundles for counsel, attendance at client meetings and creating Organograms illustrating the change in the company’s structure over the years (these were eventually used at the trial).

Wing has attained extensive experience in debt recovery and general commercial disputes from the point of issuance of claims to full and final settlement. He also has a broad experience in residential property transactions up to completion and experience in post-completion requirements.
