What:
2015 saw some important changes to contract law which will be of vital importance to everyone involved with construction projects. The Construction team at Teacher Stern LLP invites you to a seminar discussing how these changes will affect you and the issues you will need to consider in light of these fundamental changes.

We will be looking at:
Can heads of terms or an exchange of emails create a contract?
Can they vary an existing contract?
Do your contracts mean what they say: implied terms, good faith and exclusion clauses?
Are liquidated damages and termination for convenience clauses fully enforceable?

The seminar will last no more than 45 minutes with an opportunity afterwards to continue discussions in a more informal setting with light refreshments.
