Life as a Trainee
Our Trainees describe the experience as challenging, rewarding and highly practical. You’ll gain early exposure to client work, develop your legal and commercial judgement and build relationships across every level of the firm.
You’ll be trusted to contribute from day one – with supervision and mentoring from experience lawyers who are invested in your success. Support and training from your supervisor will always be available, and you will also have support from, and access to, each member of your department and practice team.
Trainee Solicitor Programme
Our two-year training programme is designed to give you breadth and depth of experience. You’ll spend six months in each of our three core departments: Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, and Corporate & Commercial – with the opportunity to experience a fourth seat in a specialist team such as Employment & Immigration, Construction, or Banking & Finance.
Each seat provides exposure to a range of matters and clients, allowing you to develop the technical, commercial and interpersonal skills you’ll need as a solicitor.
Most of your legal training will be on the job – there’s simply no better way to learn – but you will also benefit from structured learning sessions alongside your qualified colleagues.
