Our team comprises highly experienced, specialist solicitors who can guide you through the entire construction process, from advising on the most suitable method of procurement, drafting and negotiating the necessary contracts, appointments, collateral warranties and related documents to helping you to ensure that the finished project meets your requirements. We don’t consider our role to be over once contracts have been signed and works started, but rather actively support our clients during the ongoing construction period, offering assistance and advice to ensure their developments run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.


Sometimes the procurement process is not always simply a case of commissioning a team to construct a building. We are frequently asked to advise clients and assist our Corporate and Commercial teams on the construction obligations and risks arising out of joint venture projects and/or development agreements and to this end we can contribute a wealth of legal and practical experience.

Real Estate/Development Finance

We have a proven track record of acting for both private and institutional investors looking to fund developments. Working closely with our experienced Banking & Finance teams, we can undertake comprehensive due diligence on behalf of such clients and provide clear and detailed advice to enable them to make fully informed commercial decisions relating to the company/project they wish to fund.

We are also experienced in advising clients in respect of their own development obligations arising under finance agreements, and can assist in negotiating reasonable terms in this regard.

Landlords, Purchasers and Tenants

We work closely with the Real Estate team, and frequently provide due diligence and reporting services for Landlords, Purchasers and Tenants, who are looking to acquire or dispose of an interest in an existing or recently completed development.
